The House

What is The Gothimore?

The Gothimore is an old-world Victorian ritual house where botanicals, beauty, divination, ritual, and curiosities meet.

Our collections may include handcrafted ritual candles, ritual oils, tinctures, teas, beauty and grooming preparations, books, tarot and oracle decks, jewelry, curiosities, and spiritual services.

Some things are made by our House. Others are carefully selected because they belong within it.

Who is Madame Gothimore?

Madame Gothimore is the founder and keeper of The Gothimore.

Her work is rooted in ancestral traditions, divination, astrology, tarot, oracle, spiritual exploration, and a lifelong fascination with the unseen, the macabre, and the rituals through which we remember those who came before us.

Are all Gothimore products handmade?

Not everything within the House is made by us.

Many Gothimore creations are handcrafted or prepared in small batches, while books, tarot and oracle decks, jewelry, curiosities, and certain other goods may be sourced from publishers, artisans, makers, or trusted suppliers.

We will identify products appropriately within their individual listings.

Orders & Shipping

How long will my order take to process?

Our standard processing time is approximately 3–5 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.

Handcrafted, made-to-order, limited-release, dressed, fixed, or specially prepared ritual products may require additional time.

Processing time does not include shipping transit time.

How will I know when my order ships?

When tracking is available, you'll receive shipping confirmation and tracking information after your parcel has been prepared for shipment.

Please allow the carrier's tracking system time to update.

My package says delivered, but I can't find it. What should I do?

First check around your delivery area, mailbox, parcel locker, front desk or leasing office, household members, and neighbors where appropriate.

Occasionally carriers mark a parcel delivered shortly before it physically arrives.

If you still cannot locate your package, contact the shipping carrier and The Gothimore so the situation can be reviewed.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Contact The Gothimore promptly and include your order number along with clear photographs of the damaged product, shipping package, and interior packaging.

Please do not discard the product or packaging while the matter is being reviewed.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders cannot always be cancelled once they have entered preparation or fulfillment.

Specially prepared, personalized, made-to-order, ritual, and final-sale products may not be eligible for cancellation.

Please review your order carefully before completing checkout.

Returns & Refunds

Do you accept returns?

Because many Gothimore products are handcrafted, ingestible, botanical, cosmetic, personal-use, ritual, spiritual, or specially prepared, most sales are final.

Tinctures, teas, ritual oils, candles, opened personal-care products, specially prepared ritual goods, and similar products cannot be returned simply because of a change of mind or personal preference.

Please review our Refund & Cancellation Policy and Shipping & Returns Policy before purchasing.

What if you send me the wrong product?

Mistakes occasionally happen; even in old Houses.

Contact us promptly with your order number and photographs of the product received. Please do not open, use, burn, or consume an incorrect product after discovering the error.

We'll review the situation and provide instructions.

Ritual Candles

What makes a Gothimore ritual candle different?

Certain Gothimore candles may be prepared for a particular intention, tradition, spiritual purpose, or ritual practice.

Depending upon the candle, preparation may include specific colors, botanicals, oils, symbolic elements, or other components associated with its intended purpose.

Some aspects of our preparation methods and formulations are proprietary to the House.

Are your candles “spelled,” dressed, or fixed?

Certain collections may include candles that are dressed, fixed, spiritually prepared, or created with a specific ritual intention.

The individual product listing will explain the nature and intended use of that candle.

Does a ritual candle guarantee my manifestation will happen?

No.

Gothimore ritual and spiritual products are tools for personal ritual, intention, symbolism, tradition, reflection, or spiritual practice.

We do not guarantee supernatural, financial, romantic, professional, personal, or other specific outcomes.

Your ritual belongs to you.

Do I really have to trim the wick?

Yes. Madame insists.

Trim your wick to approximately ¼ inch before every burn, including the first.

Proper wick care helps control the flame, smoke, soot, and heat and encourages better candle performance.

My ritual candle has herbs or botanicals. Can I leave them near the flame?

Follow the instructions supplied with your individual candle.

Loose botanicals, herbs, flowers, resins, and decorative materials can ignite. Keep the area immediately surrounding the wick clear where instructed and never allow combustible debris to accumulate in the melt pool.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

The ritual is important. Fire safety is not optional.

Ritual Oils

Can I consume Gothimore ritual oils?

No.

Gothimore ritual oils are intended for external and/or ritual use only and are not intended for consumption.

Never assume that an oil is edible simply because it contains herbs, botanicals, or naturally derived ingredients.

Can ritual oils be used on the skin?

Only use a ritual oil on the skin if its individual directions identify it as appropriate for topical use.

Some ritual oils may be intended for objects, candles, altars, or other ceremonial purposes rather than cosmetic application.

Always follow the directions for the individual product.

Can I put ritual oil directly onto a burning candle?

Absolutely not.

Never pour or apply oil onto a lit candle, flame, hot wax, or hot vessel.

If your ritual instructions involve dressing a candle with oil, the candle should be completely extinguished and cool during preparation.

Tinctures, Teas & Botanicals

What's the difference between a tincture and a ritual oil?

A very important one.

Products expressly sold by The Gothimore as tinctures or ingestible botanical preparations are formulated and labeled for their stated use.

Ritual oils are not tinctures and are not intended for consumption unless expressly stated otherwise.

Never ingest a Gothimore product unless its label specifically identifies it as intended for consumption.

Are Gothimore tinctures medicine?

No.

Our botanical products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease, and information provided by The Gothimore is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

Always review the individual product's directions, ingredients, and warnings.

Can everyone use the tinctures?

Not necessarily.

Botanicals can affect individuals differently.

If you are pregnant or nursing, take medication, have a medical condition, have allergies or sensitivities, or are uncertain about a botanical ingredient, consult an appropriate qualified healthcare professional before use.

Products designated Adults Only / 18+ are intended only for adults.

Do you disclose every part of your formulas?

The Gothimore provides ingredient and safety information as applicable to each product and as required by law.

However, our percentages, ratios, preparation methods, botanical processes, ritual methods, and other proprietary formulation information belong to the House and are not publicly disclosed except where required.

If you have an allergy or sensitivity to a particular ingredient, please contact us before purchasing and tell us specifically which ingredient concerns you.

Tarot, Oracle, Astrology & Divination

Does Madame Gothimore offer private readings?

When available, Madame Gothimore may offer tarot, oracle, astrology, ancestral, mediumship, spiritual, and other divination consultations.

Current services and availability will be displayed on the consultation or booking page.

Are readings private?

Private consultations are treated with discretion.

Information voluntarily shared during a consultation is not ordinarily publicly disclosed or used for promotional purposes without permission, subject to the limitations described in our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Can you guarantee a prediction?

No.

Divination can be used for insight, spiritual exploration, reflection, and personal perspective, but The Gothimore does not guarantee that a prediction, message, interpretation, or particular outcome will occur.

You remain responsible for your own decisions and actions.

Can I cancel or reschedule my reading?

No.

Once an appointment is booked, the time has been specifically reserved for you and is no longer available to another client.

Appointments with XyaGoth are non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-reschedulable by the client.

Missed appointments and no-shows do not qualify for refunds, credits, transfers, or rescheduling.

If The Gothimore must cancel an appointment, we will address the booking according to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Séances & Paranormal Investigations

Does The Gothimore conduct paranormal investigations?

Private paranormal investigations, séances, or related services may be offered by The Gothimore as availability and service offerings develop.

These services may have separate requirements, agreements, consent forms, pricing, travel policies, and confidentiality terms.

Allergies & Sensitivities

I have an allergy. Can I ask whether a product contains a particular ingredient?

Absolutely. Please ask before purchasing.

Tell us the specific ingredient or allergen you're concerned about and we'll provide appropriate information regarding its presence to the extent reasonably possible and consistent with applicable requirements.

Customers with serious allergies or significant sensitivities should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before using botanical, cosmetic, or ingestible products.

Product Care

How should I store my Gothimore products?

Unless the individual product states otherwise, store products in a cool, dry location away from excessive heat, moisture, and direct sunlight.

Keep lids, droppers, and closures securely fastened and keep appropriate products away from children and pets.

Can I reuse my Gothimore candle vessel?

Once completely finished, cleaned, and free from wax and wick components, some vessels may be suitable for decorative reuse.

However, do not use a candle vessel for food, beverages, or other purposes unless it is specifically identified as suitable for that use.
