Refund & Cancellation Policy

At The Gothimore, many of our offerings are handcrafted, small-batch, personal-use, ingestible, ritual, spiritual, or prepared specifically for the individual who purchases them. Our consultations and investigations also require dedicated time and preparation.

For these reasons, all sales are considered final except where otherwise expressly stated below or required by applicable law.

Please review product descriptions, ingredients, appointment information, and your order carefully before completing your purchase.

Tinctures, Teas & Ingestible Products

For health, hygiene, safety, and product-integrity reasons, all sales of tinctures, teas, herbs, botanical preparations, and other ingestible products are final.

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on these products due to personal preference, taste, scent, sensitivity, failure to review ingredients, or change of mind.

Customers are responsible for reviewing available ingredients, directions, warnings, and product information before purchasing.

Ritual Oils, Candles & Spiritual Goods

All sales of ritual oils, dressed or fixed candles, ritual candles, manifestation products, spiritual preparations, and other ritual or spiritual goods are final.

Because these products may be handcrafted, dressed, prepared, blessed, charged, fixed, customized, or otherwise created or prepared for a particular ritual purpose, they cannot be returned, exchanged, or resold once purchased.

The Gothimore does not guarantee a particular spiritual, supernatural, romantic, financial, professional, personal, manifestation, or other outcome from any ritual or spiritual product.

A customer's dissatisfaction with the perceived spiritual or metaphysical result of a product does not qualify the purchase for a refund, replacement, exchange, or store credit.

Beauty, Oils & Personal-Care Products

For sanitary and safety reasons, opened or used beauty, grooming, cosmetic, nail, hair, beard, body, botanical, or personal-care products cannot be returned or exchanged.

Unless expressly stated otherwise on the applicable product page, these products are considered final sale.

Divination Consultations & Readings

All appointments with Madame Gothimore, including tarot, oracle, astrology, ancestral, mediumship, spiritual, divination, or other consultations, are non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-reschedulable by the client once booked.

When you reserve an appointment, that period of time is specifically held for you and is no longer available to another client.

Please select your date and time carefully before completing your booking.

If you arrive late, your session may still end at its originally scheduled time. Missed appointments and failure to attend a scheduled consultation are considered no-shows and are not eligible for a refund, credit, transfer, or rescheduling.

Purchasing a new appointment is required if you wish to book another session after a missed appointment.

Séance & Paranormal Investigations

Séances, paranormal investigations, private spiritual investigations, and related services require dedicated scheduling, preparation, research, travel planning, and/or reservation of time.

Accordingly, payments, retainers, deposits, and booking fees associated with these services are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where otherwise expressly agreed to in writing by The Gothimore or required by applicable law.

Client cancellations, changes of mind, inability to attend, failure to provide access to an agreed location, or other client-side circumstances do not entitle the client to a refund.

Additional terms may be provided for individual investigations, private events, travel, or specialty services.

If The Gothimore Must Cancel

On rare occasions, The Gothimore may need to cancel or change an appointment, consultation, séance, investigation, or other scheduled service due to illness, emergency, safety concerns, circumstances beyond our reasonable control, or other unforeseen circumstances.

If The Gothimore initiates the cancellation, we may offer the client the choice of an alternative appointment or an appropriate refund of amounts paid for the service that The Gothimore is unable to provide, as applicable.

This provision does not apply to a client's cancellation, no-show, lateness, or request to reschedule.

Books, Tarot & Oracle Decks, Curiosities & Other Merchandise

Unless a product listing expressly provides otherwise, merchandise is considered final sale.

Please inspect product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, editions, and other available information carefully before purchasing.

Normal variations in handmade, vintage-inspired, botanical, artisan, or naturally derived goods are not necessarily considered defects.

Damaged, Incorrect or Missing Items

Our final-sale policy does not eliminate any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

If your order arrives materially damaged or you receive an incorrect item, please contact The Gothimore promptly after delivery and provide your order number, description of the issue, and clear photographs of the product and packaging so that we can review the matter.

Do not discard the product or original packaging while your claim is being reviewed.

Depending upon the circumstances, The Gothimore may provide a replacement, appropriate refund, store credit, or another remedy at our discretion and as required by applicable law.

Shipping Damage, Loss & Delivery

The Gothimore is not responsible for an incorrect or incomplete shipping address supplied by the customer.

Shipping delays, carrier disruptions, weather events, or other circumstances outside The Gothimore's reasonable control do not automatically qualify an order for a refund.

Claims involving packages shown as delivered, packages lost in transit, or carrier damage may require investigation with the applicable shipping carrier.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We encourage customers to contact The Gothimore directly if there is a legitimate problem with an order or service so that we have an opportunity to review and address the matter.

Initiating a payment dispute or chargeback does not alter the terms of this Refund & Cancellation Policy or any applicable legal rights or obligations.

The Gothimore reserves the right to provide order records, booking confirmations, tracking information, communications, acceptance of policies, and other relevant documentation to the payment processor or financial institution when responding to a payment dispute.
